Yesterday, the Warriors announced that they lost Klay Thompson for the season due to a Torn Achilles and he just came off a Torn ACL, which cost him the entire year last year. Looking at the Warriors right now, they got Klay and Steph locked up until 2022. They did trade for Andrew Wiggins at the trade deadline and yesterday, they just traded for Kelly Oubre but the way the roster is without Klay, the not a championship contender and won’t go further than the 2nd round. If you’re the Warriors and you are not a title contender right now, when Thompson comes back he mostly likely won’t be the same player after 2 major injuries. I think they should consider trading both Curry and Thompson in the next 2 years, especially Curry because he’s still in his prime and you can great value for him. With Thompson coming off of 2 major injuries, it would be smart to think about moving him, getting draft picks, and cap space so you can start to rebuild around James Wiseman, your 1st round pick you took number 2 overall.
