Russell Westbrook wants out Houston last year he joined the Rockets to play with his former teammate James Harden and they lost to the Rockets in the first round. Right now, the Rockets are in no win situation if they trade him they probably won’t get the value they want seeing that he is the 2nd highest paid player in the NBA and no team wants to take on that contract for the next 3 years. He’s not a top ten player and he’s a 6–3 point guard that can’t shoot 3’s which unless you’re a center shooting 3’s is a requirement to be an elite player in today’s NBA. If the Rockets keep Westbrook they now have an unhappy player that will probably become a distraction in the locker room. There are 5 teams interested in Westbrook they are the Clippers, Knicks, Magic, Wizards and Spurs and only the Clippers would be a championship contender if they get him.
