The Seahawks will win the NFC West
By Steve Risser
The Seahawks beat the Cardinals 28–21 to move into the first place in the NFC West even though they’re only a game ahead of the Cardinals and a half game behind the Rams, so they’re going to win the NFC west. There are 4 reasons they they’re going to win the division; One is their upcoming schedule is the most favorable of the 3 teams competing for the division. In their last 6 games, the Seahawks go to Philly and Washington and host the Giants, Jets and Rams and end the season playing the Niners on the road. The team they beat last night still has 2 games with the Rams, so they have to take trips across the country 2 of the next 3 weeks to play the Giants and Pats and their both 1 PM games and they host the Eagles and Niners. As I said earlier, the Rams still got 2 games with the Cardinals. They have to go to Tampa and Seattle and they host the Pats, Jets and Niners. The 2nd reason is their defense has started to play better. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a below average defense, but the last 2 weeks they held the Rams to 23 points and the Cards to 21 last night. Jamal Adams coming back from an injury has helped the defense, especially against the run they have not allowed a running back to rush for over 40 yards, since he’s came back also trading for Carlos Dunlap has helped. He had 2 sacks last night and had the sack to clinch the game. Another reason is their run game is going to get better last night, Carlos Hyde averaged 5.6 yards a carry last night and Chris Carson should be back next week when they play the Eagles. The last and most obvious reason is that they have the best QB in the division Wilson is having an MVP season with 30 TD’s and 10 INT’s. Jared Goff is playing well, but lost one of his biggest pieces on offense with Andrew Whitworth potentially being out for the season and Kyler Murry is one of the best young QB’s in the league, but he’s not on Wilson’s level yet.
