The Big Ten Will Play Football In the Fall
By: Justin Donofrio
About a month ago the Big Ten canceled fall sports. After saying other conferences playing this past weekend and seeing that it is actually possible to play and decided this morning to reverse that decision. It was a unanimous vote by the Big Ten university presidents. They will start the season October 23rd or 24th and play an 8 game schedule. If all goes well the Big Ten Conference Championship game will be December 19th the day before the College Football Playoff Committee selects the 4 teams playoff. With that being said everything has to go right to make sure you have no cancellations. The conference will be doing rapid testing everyday. If a player tests positive the earliest they can return to game competition is 21 days. As of right now only families of the players will be allowed to attend the games.
