It’s obvious that Tom Brady won the divorce between him and Bill Belichick

On Sunday, Tom Brady will play in his 9th conference title game in 10 years and his 14th overall. But there’s a difference this time- it’s the team he’s playing for. The previous 13 times, he was with New England Patriots but this Sunday, he’ll be leading his new team the Tampa Bay Buccaneers into Lambeau field to face Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. The biggest story by far this offseason was where Brady was going to play. Many still thought that he would stay in New England, but him and the Pats parted ways and he ended up signing with the Bucs. When he signed in Tampa, there were people that thought he would not have the same success that he had with the Pats, seeing that the organization won 6 Super Bowls when he was there. He was leaving arguably one of the greatest coaches to ever do it, but those people were proven wrong. With his new team, Brady led them to an 11–5 record and he threw over 4,500 yards with 40 TD’s and 12 Int’s. He has already won 2 playoff games, which is more in one year than Belichick has in the 8 seasons that hasn’t had Brady as his quarterback. This now leads me to my next point that the Pats were not even close to the same team without Brady and finished 7–9 which was their worst season in 2 decades. In Brady’s last year with the Pats, the offense struggled and they thought that it was because Brady was aging, but that was clearly not the case. The real reason was that the Pats skill guys were absolutely terrible and that’s why Brady Barley threw for over 4,000 yards and only had 24 TD passes. With Brady gone, the Pats offense got even worse. They thought in March that Jarrett Stidham could be the guy to replace Brady, but by July, they had to make a move and they ended up signing Cam Newton. However, Cam was not even close to the same player that he was in 2015 and was not able to elevate the talent around him like Brady was able to for years when he was there. Lastly, there are 2 things Brady proved this year that no one can deny. One is that he is the greatest quarterback to ever play the game and the other is he clearly was more responsible for the Pats dynasty than Belichick and the organization was.
