Today, Giannis was named MVP for the 2nd year in a row he becomes the 12th player in NBA history to win back to back to MVP’s. Even thou he won back to back MVP’s he’s not better then Lebron James and Kevin Durant. There are 2 reason for that one is he’s not great 3 point outside of his Rookie year he’s never shot over 30 percent from 3 point range, Lebron has never been under percent 30 percent from 3 since his rookie year and Durant also hasn’t been under 30 percent from 3 since his rookie year. The other reason is the postseason with Lebron leaving the Eastern Conference 2 years ago the conference became wide open.

Last year the Bucks got to the Conference Finals and had a 2–0 lead on the Raptors but they ended up losing 4 straight and failed to reach the NBA finals. In the offseason Kawhi left the Eastern Conference and Durant missed the entire season Giannis was clearly the best player in the East and granted he did get hurt in game 3 they did get down 0–2 and Giannis was great in game 1 and the Bucks failed to get to the NBA finals losing in 5 games to the heat in the conference semis. Right now Giannis is one of the top 5 players in the NBA that’s obvious but to be in the same class as Lebron and Durant he needs to have more postseason success.
