Game 7 Preview
By Steve Risser
On Saturday, the Bucks and Nets play in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Semi Finals. The winner goes to the Eastern Conference finals. The biggest storyline going into Game 7 is who is going to be heathy for the Nets- James Harden has played the last 2 games, but he’s not been healthy. Kyrie Irving has missed games 5 and 6. It would really help the Nets if Harden and Kyrie play on Saturday, there’s a chance of that happening, but they both won’t be 100 percent. Also, they need their bench to step up outside of Durant’s amazing performance and he’ll be great again in game 7. The biggest reason why they won game 5 was because of their bench. They outscored the Bucks bench 34–15 thanks to 27 points from Jeff Green. The X-factor for the Nets is Joe Harris, as he shot 47% from 3-point range during the regular season, but he has only shot 35 percent from 3-point range in the playoffs. Outside of game 1, he has really struggled in this series. For the Bucks to win, they obviously need Middleton and Giannis to be great like they were in Game 6 and they also need Brook Lopez to have a solid game. They also need to get points off their bench, which they have struggled to do in this series. The X-Factor for the Bucks tomorrow night is Jure Holiday, who has been in double figures in every game in this series but one. I think this is a close game but, in the end, I feel like KD is going to have another huge game like they had in Game 5 and the Nets are going to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
